Build-a-Quiz

Make trivia exactly your way.

How to play
  1. Choose how many questions you want in your custom quiz.
  2. Pick one category, several favorites, or a surprise mix.
  3. Set the difficulty range and select the question styles you enjoy.
  4. Add either a whole-game clock or a timer for each question.
  5. Play immediately, save it, make it offline ready, or send it to friends as a challenge.

Choose Your Own Adventure

Every choice steers the next stretch of your run.

How to play
  1. Choose your journey length and set out on your first three-question segment.
  2. Answer the segment to show Manta where your strengths are.
  3. Pick one of three new paths, each with its own category and challenge level.
  4. Take the bolder route for tougher questions and bigger rewards.
  5. Watch the next choices adjust as your performance rises or dips.
  6. Save and resume along the way, then celebrate the unique route you created.

Trivia Ladder

Climb rung by rung—then decide when to bank the win.

How to play
  1. Choose one category for your entire climb.
  2. Start with three lives and answer to reach the first rung.
  3. Climb into harder questions with more points waiting above.
  4. Lose a life when an answer misses, but keep climbing while lives remain.
  5. Before the next rung, bank your points safely or risk them for a bigger total.
  6. Reach the summit—or finish with your highest rung, score, and rewards.

Survival

One life. One long streak. How deep can you go?

How to play
  1. Begin with one life and a wide-open mix of trivia.
  2. Answer each question without knowing what difficulty will surface next.
  3. Build your streak one correct answer at a time—there is no speed bonus.
  4. Keep going for as long as your knowledge can carry you.
  5. One wrong answer ends the run and records your streak, score, and XP.

Wager

Bet on your brain and build a trivia bankroll.

How to play
  1. Start with a fresh stack of game chips—your regular Manta points stay safe.
  2. Choose a wager from 10% of your bankroll all the way to All In.
  3. Lock it in before the next question appears.
  4. Answer correctly to add the wager, or miss and watch it leave your stack.
  5. Make it through the full run with the biggest bankroll you can build.
  6. If your chips reach zero, the run ends—so know when to make a splash.

Conquer the World

Shared challenges, rankings, and rivals beyond the reef.

Daily Manta

One daily puzzle. The same challenge for everyone.

How to play
  1. Open the new ten-question edition for your local day.
  2. Take on the same categories, questions, and order as everyone else.
  3. Work from gentler questions toward a more challenging finish.
  4. Complete your one scored attempt to keep the daily streak alive.
  5. Review every answer and explanation once the edition is complete.
  6. Compare your percentile and spoiler-free results with friends who have finished.

Trivia Battle

Head to head. Best of three. Friendly glory on the line.

How to play
  1. Open a battle and send the code, or join with the code a friend read out.
  2. Face the same question at the same moment in a live head-to-head match.
  3. Answer five questions per round with 20 seconds for each one.
  4. Every answer is worth what its difficulty is worth; being quicker only breaks a tie, it never wins a question.
  5. Win the round on points; a level round is played out in sudden death.
  6. Be the first to win two rounds. Leaving mid-match hands it to your opponent.

Manta League

Ranked rooms from Reef to Master.

How to play
  1. Tap find a match; Manta pairs you with the waiting player closest to your rating.
  2. Play a standard Trivia Battle — same questions, same clock, same rules.
  3. Beating a stronger player is worth more rating than beating a weaker one.
  4. Build both rating and wins: each room asks for some of each.
  5. Unlock Reef, Current, Open Water, Deep Sea, Abyss, and finally Master.
  6. Every promotion is permanent — a bad run costs rating, never your room.

Beat My Friends

Who’s Most Likely…?

How to play
  1. Gather at least three players on separate devices or around one shared phone.

  4. Lock the anonymous votes, then reveal who the room picked.
  5. Break any tie with a quick runoff between the tied players.
  6. Finish with hilarious group stats, custom superlatives, and shareable awards.

How to play
  1. Create a Classic, Ladder, or Survival challenge for your crew.
  2. Send it through a friend invite, shareable link, or game code.
  3. Everyone receives the same challenge and plays one scored attempt on their own time.
  4. Competitive results stay hidden until each player finishes—no accidental spoilers.
  5. Watch the standings update as friends complete their runs and late players join.
  6. Close the challenge for the final placement, accuracy, XP, badges, and rivalry recap.

Party Games

For couches, bar booths, family nights, and delightfully noisy rooms.

Massive Chaos

Big groups, changing rules, steals, bonuses, and beautiful mayhem.

How to play
  1. Host a room and share the code; everyone joins from their own phone.
  2. Play five-question rounds — and Manta changes the rules between them.
  3. Round one is straight scoring. After that, expect double points, steals, or double-or-nothing.
  4. A steal takes points off the slowest wrong answer and hands them to the fastest right one.
  5. Get one wrong in an elimination round and you sit out the rest of it — everyone returns for the next.
  6. Scores carry across every round, and never fall below zero. Biggest total wins.

Trivia Bingo

Every answer is a chance to complete the line.

How to play
  1. Join as a player or team and receive your own randomized category board.
  2. Face the same question as everyone else for one category and row.
  3. Answer correctly and Manta marks the matching square automatically.
  4. Watch identical questions land in different physical spots on different boards.
  5. Complete the current pattern—one line, multiple lines, or a full blackout.
  6. If boards finish together, settle the win with sudden-death trivia.

Wager Party

Everyone bets. Everyone sees the bankrolls.

How to play
  1. Every player starts with the same stack of 1,000 chips.
  2. Bet privately, from a tenth of your stack up to all of it — before anyone sees the question.
  3. The table sees who has bet, never how much, until the question arrives.
  4. A right answer pays your bet; a wrong one takes it.
  5. Every bankroll stays on screen, so you always know who you are chasing.
  6. Run out of chips and you are done — the game ends when only one player still holds any, or when the questions run out. Biggest stack wins.

Pass & Play

One phone. Everybody in.

How to play
  1. Add everyone’s names and choose fresh online trivia or a saved offline game.
  2. Hand the phone to the first player behind a private pass screen.
  3. Answer a short block of questions, then pass the phone to the next player.
  4. Keep everyone’s choices hidden until the entire room completes the block.
  5. Reveal the answers and round scores together, then rotate who goes first.
  6. Repeat the handoffs until the final scoreboard crowns the winner.

Category Trivia Show

Pick a category, choose a value, and hold control.

How to play
  1. Create a multiplayer room, form teams if you like, and fill the six-category board.
  2. The player or team in control chooses a category and clue value.
  3. Answer correctly to earn the value and keep control; a miss subtracts it without going below zero.
  4. After a miss, everyone else answers privately for a chance to steal the clue and the board.
  5. Clear the board as the values—and the question difficulty—rise.
  6. Privately wager on the Final category, answer one last question, and reveal the champion.
